Made for the 2011 Bloodshots Canada 48-Hour Horror Filmmaking Challenge produced by Kier-La Janisse and the Celluloid Social Club

Great job everyone! What a emotional experience. It’s so great to see the bar pushed up yet again! Cheers.
Thank you Lost Boys! I think we did pretty awesome in such a short time. Special thanks to the sound crew for helping out and to Trevor and Patti for letting us invade your space!
Very dark and disturbing!! Great job!
I really enjoyed the every single bit!!! Kudos to the Lost boys team. The Website even looks awesome.
Sorry you lost me at brain in dish voodoo cigarette burn. no vote.
We had to use a cigarette as our weapon… Perhaps a bit forced.
See it through. It’s worth it for the visuals!
considering it was scripted, shot, edited w/sfx and scored in 48 hours…with mandatory random elements included…i’d like to see what chris would have come up with in that situation
I think the way you used the cigarette was so clever, very thought-provoking, and really original. Great job on the gory make-up and modelling, it looks like so much fun!
Great opening credits, and congrats to the editor as well!
And also the whole psychotic euthanasia-state of the character was very well done. More of a gory psych-thriller from my POV.
Perhaps you have studied psychology or perhaps not, but let me tell you the experience he’s having is very realistic… Definitely voting.
Awesome job.Great work.
Awesome Work Guys.
Great job guys. It is hard to believe what can be done in just 48 hours!!!
wow! its great to see how every thing is flowing well together and the creative merging in of the concept of dream into the given hospital them!! in such little time! i say its a job well done!! sound guys you rock!! Cheers
乃 Best !!!! what else I can say~
Great work!! Keep it up
Nice! Great job everyone – very well done!
Opening scene in the Doctors office is slow, but it gets really cool after that! You got my Vote!
wow, thanks for the nightmares. that is the most disturbing thing I have allowed myself to watch in years.
Yikes! Voted.
In such a short time, you guys pulled off a fantastic-looking piece! The acting was great and the visuals were top-notch (especially with the two guys merged in one and the final shot of Grant with his brain sticking out). There was a good balance of practical and digital effects, and a certain amount of confusion to the story that makes you want to watch it again (which is not a bad thing at all). It creeped me out a bit too…
Awesome job guys! Go Lost Boys!!!
A great experience doing this project. Lots of hard work and red bulls went into making it look so great. Proud to be a part of this event.
Great work everyone! This is a real Lost Boys-style piece, all the gore and great props combined with awesome live-action, SPFX and VFX. Kudos to the actors, especially Grant, and to the directors and the whole team.
Thank you Gillian. I really appreciate that. We had an awesome group.
i have watched this several times and have handled that brain and yet when Grant vomited blood i actually gagged i can’t believe it. great Job with so little time . Grant awesome actor
I had so Much fun working on this, despite the lack of sleep
Still wish we had time to do a little more VFX, but unfortunately it seems there is no node to make me a better actor…too bad lol.
I hope everyone enjoyed our film and I cant wait to meet everyone in person at the screening.
looking forward to doing this again next year!!!!!
no wonder you did such a convincing job you were tired. the makeup and your acting worked for me totally believable. i still gag just thinking of that scene haha and my friend here at work only peeks at it through her fingers haha
That is what nightmare are made of !!!! Good work!
Thank you again to all the Lost Boys and to our new friends the sound department and Make-up assistant. We really appreciated all your help on set and promoting the hell out of this thing.
I want to say a special thanks to Leviathan for letting us use you location and play with the RED.
A BIG THANK YOU to all who VOTED! Please keep it up and tell all your friends! THANKS again. Lets make our first year count
I send a link to my friends in Germany and everybody had only positive things to say. I had a great time on the set and love the film. great job everybody =)
Somebody is helping me with the German divison! I appreciate it!
Best for the visual ! awesome job!
Very realistic. I really like but I’m afraid I’ll have nightmares tonight.
Great work. Congratulations.
Great job! Very well done!!
Awesome Video, keep going, awesome Make Up, I love you Michelle
Congratulations to all. Very good!
Hey Lost Boys,
Just want to give you guys a shout and say that we enjoy your film. The surreal visuals are out of this world, especially love the skull-less ending, like a scene right out of Hannibal. Mad respect, keep ‘em coming.
Thank you so much for your kind words.
This is our first time entering Bloodshots, but hopefully not our last. We loved every exhausting second of making it. I think next year we should get Red bull to sponsor us
Check the video on Vimeo again after voting closes, we want to re-edit it and add a few more shots we didn’t get finished in time. It will be even better.
Thanks! We had a lot of fun. What a great way to challenge our skills. See you tonight!
this is my fav after ‘of the dark’..Should have spent little more time on the story than the vfx.. but special credits for vfx in 48 hours…Excellent job..!! you deserve the second prize if not the first
totally awsome hope u guys win!
